30 tips for beautiful hair

How can I prevent damage from drying, smoothing and coloring the hair?
Experts offer tips that will make your hair from tiring & rebellious to healthy, full and shiny hair.

Rebellious hair care, dry or irritated can ruin an entire day, especially if you are before an important meeting or a festive event and have no chance to use a skilled hair designer.
The good news is you can easily avoid such a crisis by taking care of the hair properly and in routine, and if applying an appropriate routine for the new needs of the hair after chemical processes such as color, shading etc.

A few words on the hairs our heads: each hair is built of three layers: inner layer (medulla) is not affected by cosmetics design, middle layer (cortex) that contains the pigmented hair shaft and is affected by chemical processes such as dyeing, oxidation, smoothing and curling, and an outer layer (cuticle) built from layers of cells that look like roof tiles stacked on top of it.

In damaged hair the "tiles” are open and there is a danger that harmful materials will slip in and leave your hair lifeless. As uniform and smooth the “tiles” are, so does the hair will look more fresh and shinny. So after washing or chemical action, it is important to finish the treatment that closes back the layers of tiles in the hair.

1. Combing the hair

Daily brushing massages the scalp and accelerates blood flow to the hair follicles, so that the hair will be fed and stronger. Combing also causes the natural fat layer on the scalp to disperse, which closes its “tiles” and provides the hair shine. Aggressive combing can stretch a hair and tear it up, so a daily brush when having dry or damp hair is sufficient.

2. Comb with the right brush for you

The brushes are different in design, materials and price. When purchasing a hair brush, choose one which is comfort to use and its fibers reach the scalp and massage it.

3. Do not wash your hair too often

If your hair is not oily and if you are not exposed to extreme air pollution and significant dirt, you can certainly wash your hair only once or twice a week. While everyday washing is not dangerous, but it removes natural and essential fats from hair and though may dry it.

4. Wash right

Start with warm water flow downward (to reduce the likelihood of knotted hair). Wash your hair gently with your fingertips, and finish the shower with cold water to increase blood flow to the scalp.

5. Avoid frequent shampoo switching

Switching shampoos too often can lead to dandruff and dry hair, so find the right product for your hair and use it regularly. After chemical operations to the hair, one must reconsider using the right product.

6. Do not give up on conditioner

When the shampoo opens the “tiles "and cleans up the mess and the fat accumulated on the hair, it also removes the natural fat found on the scalp and hair. It is therefore important to use conditioner, which closes the “tiles” and compensates for the loss of natural oils of the hair (and living off the color of the hair).

7. Use conditioner and shampoo separately

Thus the concentration of the detergent and the softening are higher. One product that promises to clean and soften might save you time and space on the shelf, but doubtfully will perform the two operations in their entirety.

8. Replace the conditioner with a mask occasionally

Hair mask will provide your hair a much higher concentration of active ingredients. Select the mask based on your hair type, ease of use and the results it provides.

9. Dry your hair right

Dry your hair as natural as possible, wipe it gently with absorbing the water during the act of "milking". Rubbing the hair with a towel will cause the formation of knots and loss of shine, and therefore should avoid from stacking the hair on the head with a towel.

10. If you still use a hair dryer

Before using the dryer apply restoring cream to prevent breakage. Set the dryer to a low heat and keep away from the hair by at least half an inch. While drying avoid over-pulling in order not to rip it. Maintaining the results - apply every morning serum on the ends of the hair. Before sports or sleep it is recommended to pick up a low ponytail hair (ponytail too tight can cut off the hair out of position).

11. Cut the ends of the hair once every two - three months

It is advisable to cut the ends at a professional barber because the edged of cutting is very important (for example, diagonally cut out edges will be saved over time from breakage and splitting).

12. Be sun smart

Use hair products designed to reduce radiation damage. Since they can partially protect the hair, the best solution is wearing a hat (remember hat too tight for many hours would prevent the scalp and hair to breathe).

13. Prefer hair colors without ammonia

Hair colors without ammonia provide full coverage for white hair, does not damage the outside shell of the hair and less likely to fade (and therefore remain longer than usual colors). But for thin oily hair it is recommended to dye the hair in its natural color to reduce the scalp’s oiliness.

14. Take long breaks between dying as much as possible

In the meantime, you can overcome the roots of white hair with color sticks sold in pharmacies (such as Topic, Bi-color stick or Color Mark), washed in the first hair-washing. Also, you can spread on the white hair mascara waterproof in your hair color.

15. Avoid washing the hair two days before dying it

So that the fat is secreted from the scalp will be a buffer between the skin & the color, thus saving you from burning and itching scalp.

16. Do not dye all the hair each time

Occasionally satisfy with only roots coloring. If necessary, ten minutes before rinsing the color from the roots, apply the color on the rest of hair.

17. Keep the color of the hair

In order not to accelerate color fading and not to increase its drying-out, you should wear a hat or apply sunscreen on the hair before any sun exposure.

18. Use shampoo for colored hair

Wash the hair using a shampoo for colored hair, preferably from a recognized brand. This is a shampoo with a pH 5.5, high in moisture and protects hair shell.

19. When oxidizing the hair, prefer products that reduce the damage

Today there are many products for home-use and salon treatments reducing the damage to the hair during the chemical operations as the use of oxygen and ammonia. Ask the barber to use products which will stop the action of oxidation after receiving the desired result and reduce the damage to the hair shell.

Mostly it is about specialized formulations based on natural oils (like flaxseed) lining the hair shaft. Consider the use of such preparations usually at extra cost.

20. Smooth your hair?

Make sure that the hair dressers certificate on behalf of the importer authorizing him to engage in smoothing the hair. It is especially important to make sure the smoothing has the Health Ministry’s approval. Many hair salons still perform different types of smoothing that are not only without the approval of the Ministry of Health, but may to cause hair damage.

The main culprit is formaldehyde (formalin: When using his exceptional quantities, using heat-emitting devices, you may inhale toxic fumes that increase the risk of damage to the skin, respiratory system and eyes).

21. Dry hair, dyed or faded?

Hair fading is caused by environmental damage, dryness, color and chlorine. The best solution is to use products which contain moisture materials such as glycerin, vitamin E, panthenol (vitamin B5), shea butter and natural oils, applying to the outer layer of hair and buy her a uniform and complete.

After every hair-wash absorb the water gently, apply a mask to the hair and wrap it with a hot towel to help enhance the permeability of materials. When hair is in bad shape, the best solution is a good haircut. Until then, you should perform a heated keratin treatment or ampoule treatment (in a barber shop), that help hair recovery. Concentration of active ingredients in an ampoule is at least seven times larger than in a mask, and is adapted to the needs of the hair.

Generally, the effect on hair restoration is temporary.

22. Lowering volume

Usually, the reason to an inflated hair is negative charge. Use anti-static preparations or a conditioner, they create heavy on the hair and ”drop” it. While washing your hair, apply it with hair mask, and calm it with a wide tooth comb and rinse.

After drying apply a moisturizer to download the hair’s volume, and finish by applying the tips of the hair with serum to provide a weight.

23. Greasy Hair

Wash the hair gently to prevent overstimulation to the scalp and secreting of natural oils. In the first three weeks of treatment wash every other day, and when the fats level in the scalp balances, you can wash twice a week. If you blow the hair with a dryer, reduce the strength of the wind and increase the heat.

24. Normal Hair

Apply the hair with mask after shampooing and finish by applying the hair serum at its edges to close the hair ends and provide it with lightning and freshness.

25. Loosening knotted hair

Wash the hair well and use a mask or a conditioner for dry hair. While the products is on the hair, comb using brushes with very short teeth.

26. Curly hair

Do not wash more than once - twice a week, but wet the hair daily to open the curls. If necessary, you can use curls design products which cover the hair with moisture materials and make flexible curls. If the curl is too shrunken, use a cream to design the curls and cream moisturizer.

27. Fine and thin hair

Wash gently using suitable shampoo (shampoo that grants volume or one that prevents hair loss and strengthens the roots). Apply some conditioner on it (not the root of the hair) and rinse. You should use products rich with moisture materials which contain pro-vitamin B12 that cling to the hair and give it volume.

28. Hair suffering from static-electricity

This phenomenon is common mainly during hot and dry days. Spray the hair a little water and run it with your fingers. If you want to brush it, you should use a brush made of natural materials. Also, you can use anti-static products or rub some serum on the ends of hair.

29. Hair dandruff sufferer

Mild dandruff is a natural regeneration caused as part of the scalp’s natural renewing, and any shampoo may help to ease the problem. When dandruff is accompanied by seborrhea dermatitis, it can cause increased hair loss. Using a dedicated shampoo treatment in addition to a medical treatment may also reduce the dropout rate.
